Community Presentations

The Gippsland Family Violence Alliance in their 2023-1028 Strategic Plan, committed to developing resources which can be delivered by agencies for community groups, such as:

  • Neighborhood houses
  • Sporting and recreation clubs
  • Charities
  • Other community based groups that may interact with those who are experiencing violence

We have developed two presentations:

  • 30min presentation
  • 60 min presentation

The presentation covers:

  • What is family violence
  • Family Violence impacts in Gippsland
  • Barriers to finding help
  • How to find help for family violence
  • How to have a conversation with someone who may be experiencing family violence

It’s important that you register your presentation, so the GFVA for reporting purposes. It’s a 2 min process.

Presenters

Anyone who works within a Service of the Gippsland Family Violence Alliance can deliver the presentations. We recommend that those who deliver it are confident with the Family Violence materials.
